The first time I met Miss Thalassa, I had just moved into the Gramarye complex and was feeling a little out of place. She sat down with me for some time and we spoke.

I told her over and over that everything was alright, but she looked over at me and said in the gentlest way that she didn’t believe me.

I… appreciated that. Her honesty is one of her most admirable traits.

My final audition with Zak.

I was understandably anxious and may or may not have made a mistake… so he improvised off it and saved the trick altogether. When we were door, he picked me up off the stage and lifted me onto his shoulder for a photo-finish.

He is a lot of things, but a bad partner is not one of them.

…Of course, he did drop me once we were side of stage; it was an accident, admittedly.

Ah—

I… I get terrible travel-sickness.

I adore performing, of course, but at times when we tour I am prone to feeling unwell en route. Once it was so bad that I lay my head in my partner’s lap and sulked the entire time. Not my most magnificent hour.

Hm. Difficult to say.

The Quick-Draw Shoot ‘Em is a classic, of course; but I was always quite fond of rabbit-in-hat tricks. They always seem to make someone smile.
